Danielle is originally from a small town in British Columbia, where she spent most of her time enjoying the outdoors and helping out on the farm. She moved to Alberta in 2005 with her family after the devastating forest fires of BC in 2003.
Danielle attended the University of Alberta to follow her love for music in 2011, and after volunteering at the Edmonton Humane Society realized her real passion was working with animals. After her first year of tech school, she had the wonderful opportunity to work at Glenora Family Pet Clinic where she was able to apply her teachings and grow as a technician in training while in school. Danielle graduated from NAIT’s Animal Health Technology program with honours in 2018, followed by an exciting 5-week practicum at the Edmonton Humane Society, the place where her love for the industry of veterinary medicine all started. After her practicum she continued to work as a Registered Veterinary Technician for Glenora after passing the Veterinary Technician National Exam. She couldn't be happier to continue her career and grow as a technician with the GFPC team.
In her spare time she enjoys going on road trips to the mountains, spending quality time with her family and friends, tinkering on the piano and playing with her two cats at home, Spaz and Dasha (pictured).
