Ashleigh

Ashleigh Originally moved to Lethbridge, Alberta all the way from England in 2008, and then made the move from Lethbridge up to Edmonton in 2018. Ashleigh worked as a hairstylist for just over 5 years before changing paths. While volunteering at the Edmonton Human Society, she discovered her great love for helping take care of animals. In 2019, when the Covid-19 pandemic hit and hair salons were shut down, Ashleigh took the opportunity to change paths and went to NAIT to complete the Veterinary Medical Assisting program. Ashleigh completed her practicum with us in 2021 after graduating from the VMA program and has been an asset to our team ever since!

Ashleigh has a special place in her heart for bunnies and rescue dogs and you can always count on her to be loving, kind, and gentle with every animal she handles in the clinic! Ashleigh looks forward to growing her knowledge on Fear-Free techniques and helping shy and fearful dogs feel more comfortable when coming to visit the clinic.
